Professional engineering licensure as a company allows Turbitrol to provide the design and engineering services necessary when providing systems in accordance with design specifications produced by consultants on behalf of their municipal clients. The above listed states (and others) require professional engineering licensure when engineering work is required by the supplier in completing its system supply responsibilities. Since it is virtually impossible for the consultant to pre-design or specify all aspects of the work involving engineering, instrumentation and control system integrators must possess professional engineering licensure to legally perform the supply of the system.

Additionally, professional engineering licensure allows Turbitrol to provide turnkey approaches to instrumentation work provided there is no conflict with local law. In this scenario, Turbitrol can provide the instrumentation and/or electrical design specification work, the instrumentation system software configuration services, and (if permitted) the instrumentation system hardware.
